The Renewal Specialist plays a pivotal role in maximizing revenue through the management and execution of renewal contracts in an incremental revenue contractual model. A unique opportunity to drive revenue growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the organization in a dynamic and evolving market landscape. This position requires a blend of sales and customer relationship management experience, with meticulous attention to contract details.

What you'll be doing:

  • Renewal Management & Negotiation
  • Proactively manage the end-to-end renewal process for partnership contracts and cap negotiations where applicable.
  • Monitor contract expiration dates and proactively engage customers in renewal discussions ahead of expiration.
  • Collaborate with the Contextual Commerce (Client Success, Analyst) team to ensure timely and accurate renewal execution.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, usage patterns, and satisfaction levels with our service and technology. Meet with executive business leaders to highlight our value proposition.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights on the value proposition of renewals and offering tailored solutions where applicable to meet their evolving needs.
  • Contractual Compliance:
  • Ensure contractual compliance and accuracy in renewal agreements, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Review contractual documents and work closely with legal and finance teams to address any discrepancies or issues in renewal contracts.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilize data analytics tools and systems to track renewal performance, forecast revenue projections, and identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into renewal metrics, revenue attainment, and customer engagement levels.

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years experience, specifically with quota carrying
  • Proven experience in software renewals management or sales operations, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in collaborating with procurement teams to streamline sourcing processes, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Strong understanding of contractual agreements, pricing models, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
