The Service Centre Manager leverages their complete knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance and repairs, regulatory compliance, and leadership of teams and processes to manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, personnel and expenses in order to achieve defined business goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leadership for all aspects of the Service Centre truck and trailer technician teams including productive team planning, communications, performance and attendance
- Following all standard work methods and processes, identifying waste and areas for improvement
- Coaching technicians, managing and inspecting technician work and performance to meet GoRight repair standards and customer requirements
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Managing customer issues and concerns
- Providing quotes as required, to internal and external customers
- Achievement of annual budgeted revenue and expense contributions
- Monitoring internal scorecards to identify areas for improvement
- Reviewing and ensuring shop supplies inventories are available, supporting the Supply Chain organization as required
- Follow OEM requirements for processing of warranty work
- Assist with overseeing and managing the facility and grounds so they are maintained, safe, and organized
- Monitor and maintain Corporate 6S standards in all areas
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements for the role include:
- Truck and Transport Mechanic - Certificate of Qualification (C of Q)
- Minimum 5 years managerial/supervisory experience in a service centre environment
- Truck and Trailer parts knowledge
