Senior Account Manager – Wabash Canada Trailer Sales
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Manager to join our team at Wabash Canada, with affiliated companies, GoRight Fleet Solutions, and Mirlin Technologies.
This role involves expanding our trailer sales business by building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong trailer sales background, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the transportation industry.
Wabash Products would include:
- Wabash Duraplate® Dry Vans
- Wabash Aluminum and Combo Flatbeds and Drop-decks
- Wabash Dry and Reefer Truck Bodies
- Wabash Tankers
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Generate new business opportunities and acquire new clients for sales of all trailer products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess market trends.
Client Consultation and Service:
- Understand clients’ trailer needs and provide customized solutions.
- Spec and build Trailer Specifications and prepare and present Sales Proposals, including pricing detailed specifications.
- Negotiate and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage and update client information in the CRM system.
- Create and enter trailer specifications in Wabash’s system tailored to customer requests.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of trailers.
Customer Support:
- Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track sales performance, prepare reports, and analyze trends to inform strategy.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in transport trailer sales or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of trailer specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, sales, or a related field is a plus.
