The Senior Talent Specialist will oversee vendor management, optimize vendor operations, and support global delivery for Data Solutions. This role plays a significant role in driving recruitment for the global supplier network in specific areas of work, based on client requirement and project specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a global network of language/non-language/subject matter experts professionals, ensuring talent availability.
- Manage full vendor lifecycle including recruitment, negotiations, assessments, and onboarding.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with vendors, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Establish processes and best practices for negotiating contracts and pricing.
- Partner with Sales/Solution, as needed, to evaluate external supplier rate cards and provide data on pricing.
- Collaborate with Production teams to align vendor capabilities with project requirements.
- Coordinate with Accounting to resolve invoicing, payment, and financial queries.
- Collaborate with HR in local geos to ensure compliance and documentation.
- Support internal audits related to vendor management.
- Work on multiple talent platforms to recruit vendors as per project requirement. Build expertise on platform and talent management.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience in Vendor Management, preferably in freelancer sourcing, talent acquisition, or crowdsourcing—ideally in data collection or similar industries.
- Proven track record of building and managing a global vendor ecosystem.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Experience with compliance and risk management processes.
- Familiarity with vendor management tools and related technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with remote collaboration tools.
- Full professional fluency in English (additional languages are an asset).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong organizational discipline.
