Project Details

• Project Name: Audio Quality Experiment

• Start Date: Tentatively within 1–2 weeks
• Duration: 3 weeks from project start
• Objective: Understand user perception of audio quality in various environments using uncompressed MP3 files.

Experiment Scope

• Audio Type: Uncompressed MP3s
• Listening Conditions:
  • Mobile phone speakers
  • Bluetooth headset
  • Wired headphones
• Network Requirement: Participants must use mobile data only (no Wi-Fi)
• Pilot Requirement: Evaluation of 25 audio files across all 3 environments
• Average Handling Time per Audio: ~5 minutes

• Total Participants: 250
  • 250 from India
• Demographics:
  • 125 male + 125 female per location
• Language Requirement: Must be fluent in English
• Devices Needed:
  • Smartphone
  • Wired headphones
  • Bluetooth headset
