Who you are:
The Partner Trainer is responsible for delivering training for Geotab Resellers, and occasionally customers and employees. The Geotab Reseller Training & Enablement Team provides an extensive curriculum to educate Resellers on the use, sale, support and value of the Geotab product suite, in addition to Marketplace Partner integration offerings.
What you'll do:
We are looking for a new Trainer to join our Training Solutions department to provide learning experiences with our webinars and to train our Resellers in our product suite as a first focus. The main goal is to become proficient in our product, processes, in order to lead diverse learning initiatives across both commercial and technical teams that will provide satisfactory results to our partners and customers.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Assist in the development of curriculum for Geotab employees, resellers and customers.
  • Manage documentation and tracking of activity pertaining to Reseller training.
  • Organize training events for Geotab Resellers
  • Present training modules through various modalities (e.g. video recording, webinars, and live presentations e-learning).
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external business partners to coordinate training.
  • Assist with special training sessions and ad-hoc company projects.
  • Ensure all materials and services are available for customers and resellers.
  • Maintain accurate customer interaction documentation and quality case management records.

What you'll bring to this role:

  • 3-5 years training experience delivering a variety of modalities.
  • Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry would be considered an asset.
  • Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training in both English and Portuguese.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
  • A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Ability to understand audience needs and deliver learning experience commensurate with needs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
