Geotab is seeking a new member for our Solutions Engineering team who will work in close collaboration with our partner network, focusing on strategic initiatives that drive portfolio expansion and customer retention. What you’ll do:

On our Solutions Engineering team, your key area of responsibility will be to showcase and adapt Geotab's solutions, including the development and customization of solutions using our MyGeotab platform and SDK to meet unique customer and partner needs. You will also guide strategies with our partners to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth in their current service offerings. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Sales, Development and Product teams. To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have a customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the capacity to assess customer challenges and propose viable solutions.

How you’ll make an impact:

Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to empower end-users and enhance their understanding of Geotab solutions.
Engage and collaborate with partners and customers to optimize their utilization of Geotab's technology, products, and solutions, tailoring the approach to meet their specific needs.
Participate in and contribute to integration projects, working closely with partners, third-party integrators, and customers to ensure seamless implementation and deployment.
Assess and analyze customer business challenges, identifying Geotab’s viability and proposing alternative approaches when necessary.
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of new Geotab products, contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's offerings.
Create and optimize data-driven dashboards for cross-functional use, facilitating informed decision-making and efficient collaboration.
Provide prompt and accurate technical support to sales teams, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure client satisfaction.
Collaborate with the Geotab Sales team to identify and deliver effective solutions for customer challenges, contributing to sales growth and customer retention.

What you’ll bring to this role:

2-4 years of experience in a relevant technical field, such as software engineering, data analysis, or systems integration, with a focus on customer-facing roles.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of telematics, IoT, and related technologies.
Experience with programming languages, such as Python, SQL, Java, or C#, and experience with API integrations.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, as well as data visualization tools like Superset or Power BI.
Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to assess customer challenges and propose viable solutions.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support.
A customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to understanding client needs and delivering exceptional service.
Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience with sales or business development, with the ability to identify and pursue potential opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
