Job Description
We are seeking a Proposal Writer to support our business development and sales efforts through the preparation of high-quality client proposals and related documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, organizing, and coordinating proposal responses for domestic and international clients, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client requirements.
This role focuses on proposal development and written communication, with limited support provided to sales and marketing activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and format client proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and supporting documents
- Coordinate proposal inputs from internal teams to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Customize proposals to align with client requirements and evaluation criteria
- Maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and version control
- Support sales teams by preparing written materials, case studies, and presentations
- Assist with proposal submissions for international clients, including Latin American markets
- Track proposal timelines, deadlines, and submission requirements
- Ensure proposals meet quality, compliance, and branding standards
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in communications, business, technical writing, or a related field
- Experience in proposal writing, technical writing, or document coordination
- Strong written English communication and editing skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate across teams
- Experience supporting sales or business development teams is an asset
- Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are an asset
