Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership and Coordination:
    • Manage and support cross-functional technical teams, including [e.g., software development, IT support, DevOps, QA, etc.].
    • Set clear goals and expectations for team performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  2. Operational Excellence:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures to improve team efficiency and productivity.
    • Oversee resource allocation, including personnel, tools, and technologies, to ensure effective project execution.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for technical teams.
  3. Project and Program Management:
    • Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time and within budget.
    • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  4. Technical Strategy and Process Improvement:
    • Partner with senior management to develop technical strategies that support business goals.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, including automation and streamlining workflows.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and best practices.
  5. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
    • Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, team performance, and technical issues.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in technical roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Go / Node.js / TypeScript / Vue.js / PostgreSQL / MySQL / Docker / Kubernetes / Kafka / DroneCI / Bitbucket / Confluence / JIRA / Slack / Linux / MacOS
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and/or software development lifecycle.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management
  • Experience working in technical environments (SaaS, fintech, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, QA and other technical processes.
