About FutureVault

FutureVault is a B2B2C white-labeled Digital Vault platform delivering Agentic Digital Vaults to the financial services industry. The firm’s vision is anchored in the belief that Digital Vaults will become the centrepiece of all financial services companies. FutureVault’s Client Life Management Vaults™ and Business Life Management Vaults™ are used by wealth management firms, banks, credit unions, and family offices to centralize enterprise and client documentation from disparate point-solutions, strengthen compliance and recordkeeping, deepen client relationships and deliver robust AI/agentic functionality.

About The FUTR Corporation (TSX-V: FTRC)

The FUTR Corporation, spun out of FutureVault to deliver the Digital Vault construct in a B2C format, is a Toronto-based consumer data technology company building the FUTR Agent App, an AI Agent that saves consumers 20 minutes a day, pays consumers for their data and takes agentic action associated with payment and transaction fulfillment. The firm’s thesis is that personal data is the most valuable asset class in the world and that consumers should participate in the monetization of their data. Through the FUTR Agent App, consumers receive FUTR Tokens for every document they upload, save 20 minutes a day by querying their Agent (“I just got a crack in my windshield, do I have insurance coverage for that?”) and receive consented, money-saving offers on products/services surfaced by their Agent. The firm currently delivers this technology through its auto-dealer and financial planning lines of business.

About Paterson Partners

Paterson Partners is the single-family office of G. Scott Paterson, who is the Founder and Chairman of both FutureVault and The FUTR Corporation. The office oversees his investment portfolio and the operations that sit around it.

About the Role

We're hiring a Business Development Analyst to work across all three organizations, supporting business development initiatives.

You'll build the materials that move the needle and win contracts: product mockups, tailored value propositions and pitch decks developed in close collaboration with our business development and executive teams. You'll research a target enterprise deeply enough to understand how it actually operates, then translate that into a demonstration of how our platform maps to its specific workflows, client segments, terminology and regulatory context.

The role supports both new opportunities and expansion within existing client accounts. There's also room to run your own outbound and book meetings directly, and the people who take that on tend to move fastest here.

Alongside business development initiatives, you’ll support Paterson Partners across its portfolio companies and the day-to-day operations of the family office.

Who Thrives Here

This role moves quickly. Three organizations generate a heavy workload and priorities shift constantly. The people who thrive here take initiative without being asked, hold several unrelated workstreams at once, and reprioritize without dropping any of them. They're comfortable learning something new under pressure and translating that into materials that lead to results.

Drive matters more than credentials here. If you have it, we can teach the rest.

What You'll Do

  • Build product mockups and presentations tailored to specific enterprise prospects, working across design tools and presentation software
  • Curate and produce pitch decks in close collaboration with the business development and executive teams
  • Translate research into product mockups, use cases, and narratives that reflect how a given enterprise actually works
  • Assist on commercial proposals, assembling the supporting materials and scenarios that leadership prices
  • Research target institutions - products, distribution, client archetypes, organizational structure, competitive position - and brief the team on where our platform fits
  • Map the product to industry-specific requirements across wealth management, banking, insurance, accounting, and telecom
  • Maintain competitive intelligence on other platforms in the market, including the comparison materials the sales team uses in live deals
  • Support expansion opportunities within existing client accounts
  • Join meetings on select opportunities, supporting the presentation and capturing what comes out of the room
  • Support the sales cycle end to end: follow-up materials, RFP and security questionnaire responses, and post-meeting analysis
  • Opportunity to run self-directed outbound to source and secure meetings
  • Support channel and reseller partners with enablement materials and co-selling collateral
  • Carry prospect requirements back to the product and development teams, closing the loop between what the market is asking for and what gets built
  • Support investor relations initiatives, including materials that market the investment opportunity and help maintain shareholder relationships
  • Support Paterson Partners’ portfolio companies with research, reporting, and ad hoc project work
  • Take on operational and administrative work supporting the running of the family office

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • New or recent grad
  • Demonstrated ability to produce visual work that lands in front of decision makers - not a trained designer, but real design sensibility and comfort moving between design and presentation tools/software
  • Strong written communication, since much of this role produces documents that go in front of institutional decision-makers
  • Research depth: you can go deep on an unfamiliar enterprise and speak credibly about its business within days
  • Precision. Materials go out under our name to enterprises that notice when a product name, title, or regulatory reference is wrong
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and/or experience

Helpful

  • Genuine interest in financial services, or coursework and credentials that demonstrate it
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS sales cycles or wealth management technology
  • Curiosity about capital markets; exposure to private placements or public company processes is a bonus

What We Offer

Direct access to senior leadership, unusual scope for an early-career role, and equity participation. Your work lands in front of major enterprises and you'll see your effort lead to direct results.
