The Opportunity
We are looking for a Finance Manager to support our CFO in building out our finance organization. This is a great opportunity to get hands on experience, working directly with the CFO, executive team, and cross functional departments to further develop the business and drive growth. We operate a global business, which creates a unique opportunity to develop and refine a finance skillset on a global scale.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead financial operations including owning the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of internal and external monthly financial statements and year-end audit
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements in operating countries
- Design, document, and implement scalable processes to support the company growing globally.
- Partner with other departments to track and provide insights on KPI’s and business health (e.g., customer lifetime value, ROI on geographic expansion etc.)
- Support fundraising activities by preparing financial materials and investor presentations
- Contribute to budgeting/forecasting and strategic planning initiatives to ensure the company is optimizing cash runway / profitability
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or senior role
- Experience in a SaaS, healthtech, or high-growth technology company highly preferred
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier firm) is an asset
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and analysis
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and implementing financial systems
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics and business models
- Experience with financial reporting and operations in multiple currencies preferred
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is an asset

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at venture-backed companies and supporting fundraise processes (Series A/B)
- Knowledge of healthcare/medical device regulatory environments
