Description

Maintain general accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that proper information is reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Assist in accounting functions including but not limited to Cash, Prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, accounts payable accounts receivable, fixed assets, long-term debt, deferred revenues etc.
  • Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, analysis, account reconciliation and reporting.
  • Conduct account reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data.
  • Integrate entities acquired through M&A, experience with integration of accounting team, accounting systems and accounting records.
  • Assist with annual audits and due diligence work.
  • Ensures that financial statements and board reports are accurate, complete and generated on a timely basis.
  • Oversee and administer an internal expense reimbursement program and review sales commissions.
  • Prepares annual plan, projections and budget with guidance from leadership
  • Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal procedures and processes
  • Participate in special projects as needed. Recommend ways to enhance process, solution oriented, great problem-solving skills.
  • Process by-monthly payroll.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years accounting experience and BA/BS degree in Accounting
  • Proficiency with handling recurring revenue and recognized revenue principles, familiar with ASC 606.
  • Experience and proficiency using NetSuite and/or QuickBooks.
  • Technology or SaaS industry experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred, managing a team of 4-5 people.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and communication skills with the ability to work independently but also partner with management and various teams within the company.
  • M&A and System integration experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with great attention to details.
