We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer for the Engineering Team.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust fullstack features across Ruby and React codebases
- Lead and scope technical projects, working closely with product and engineering peers to align on goals and execution plans
- Build and maintain scalable, production-grade APIs with a focus on uptime, reliability, and maintainability
- Implement and advocate for automated testing, continuous deployment, and contract validation practices
- Take full ownership of features - from planning and design to deployment and support
- Guide architectural decisions that support long-term scalability and performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization to enable deeper integrations and impactful solutions
- Mentor fellow developers through thoughtful code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to internal standards, tooling, and processes that elevate our overall engineering quality
What You Bring:
- Strong proficiency in Ruby and familiarity with Rails, with a track record of contributing to production-grade systems
- Experience developing front-end applications in JavaScript, ideally using React
- Deep understanding of API lifecycle management, including:
- Designing and maintaining high-uptime services
- Continuous integration and deployment practices
- Automated test coverage and contract validation
- Proven ability to lead projects and align technical execution with business goals
- Strong architectural mindset, able to balance simplicity, performance, and long-term maintainability
- Familiarity with CSS and modern styling frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, CSS preprocessors)
- Excellent communication skills - you bring clarity to complex situations and help teams stay aligned
- Comfortable mentoring others and providing constructive feedback through code review and pairing
Bonus:
- Experience with SMART on FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare data standards
- Experience working with EHR platforms or healthcare integrations
