We’re hiring a Business Operations Manager for our team. As the Business Operations Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Operating Officer, working collaboratively to optimize and streamline business processes, enhance efficiency, and support business initiative and departmental operational reporting. This role requires a strong operational mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical skills and the ability to prioritize.

What you'll do

  • Extend the time of the COO:
  • Collaborate with the COO to manage and monitor company performance. This includes owning the monthly operational review process, driving collaboration with business owners to drive strategic narratives.
  • Deep knowledge of the managed sub-functions, solid knowledge of departmental function, and objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, minimize risks, and improve overall performance. This includes regularly analyzing performance metrics and providing reports to the COO, identifying areas for improvement and success.
  • Work with the senior leadership team to understand and resolve issues.
  • Business Management:
  • Oversee the tools (Asana), templates and processes for monitoring company, departmental and initiatives performance. Provide the training, guidance and support to the team as needed.
  • Maintain the source of truth and status of company initiatives.
  • Lead and oversee strategic projects as needed, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project initiatives and meet organizational objectives.
  • Communication management around changes in plan. Ensure the right stakeholders get the right updates to drive key business decisions.
  • Resource efficiency and allocation:
  • Support the COO in optimizing resource utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify potential risks to operations and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure business continuity in the face of challenges.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar.
  • Proven experience in business operations management, with a track record of success in process improvement and initiative management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools to support operational efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently, thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of professionalism and discretion.
