We’re hiring a Manager, Clinical Decision Support to join our team. This role will serve as the voice of the customer, providing clinical oversight and direction for the development of clinical decision (CDS) support tools, as well as evaluating CDS-related partners and services that will be valuable to practitioners. Collaborating with other departments, your goal is to optimize patient care and resource allocation throughout the clinical diagnostic framework.
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement clinical decision support tools and protocols
- Research, evaluate, and incorporate the latest scientific evidence, clinical guidelines, and industry best practices into our decision support systems.
- Collaborate with medical experts to translate clinical knowledge into actionable algorithms and decision support protocols.
- Lead the design and implementation of algorithms and CDS tooling to improve clinician decision-making and patient health outcomes.
Ensure accuracy and reliability of clinical decision support systems:
- Establish rigorous quality assurance processes to validate and verify the accuracy of clinical algorithms and translation to treatment protocols.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation of CDS systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary updates.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and advancements in clinical decision support systems, continuously enhancing our capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
- Work closely with the Commercial teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Medical Advisory) to design & develop product offerings, related content and educational programs, and provide support for go to market strategy of CDS offerings.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to integrate CDS features seamlessly into our products and services.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance throughout the CDS-related product development lifecycle.
- Lead the development of CDS-related educational resources and content related to decision support tools.
- Collaborate with the data analytics team to leverage real-time data and user feedback to refine and optimize our CDS systems and features.
Stay informed and educate others:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in CDS systems, health technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Share knowledge and insights with internal stakeholders, including conducting training sessions and presentations to promote awareness and understanding of CDS systems.
What You Bring To The Table:
- Advanced or doctorate-level degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, medicine).
- Proven experience in clinical decision support, healthcare technology, and/or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of clinical guidelines, evidence-based medicine, and US-based healthcare workflows & health systems
- Experience in developing and implementing clinical algorithms and decision support tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Passion for health and wellness, with a desire to make a positive impact on individuals' lives.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with industry experts to gain insights and translate them into learning content
- Experience working in a virtual clinical setting or using virtual clinical tools, with a clear understanding of virtual clinical interactions and telemedicine solutions, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms
- Willing and able to travel up to 20%
- Highly proficient in G Suite, Looker, MixPanel, Figma, and/or other relevant analytical or presentation platforms
- Proficient in using medical research/reference tools like Natural Medicines Database, RxFiles, Up-To-Date, Clinical Key, and others
