Mortgage Fulfillment Specialist, Sales

Salary Range $60,000 to $70,000 + Commission
We are a fast-growing startup based in Vancouver, BC. We’re looking for a personable, happy, methodical, and process-oriented salesperson who takes pride in their work. You will work to make our salespeople successful, our borrowers happy, and our broker partners elated by the insanely good customer service they receive from Fraction. You should live and breathe sales and finely tuned operations.
Here's the full breakdown of the hiring process:
- Screening to make sure the position/company is a fit for you. You have to want to work at a small, rapidly growing company.
- Interview with one or two of our team members to go over your skills, background, and fit with Fraction.
- You will complete a short Mini Project as part of the interview process. Our hope is that a) it shows us how you actually produce work, and b) it is our replacement for the painful all-day onsite that lots of companies do. Somewhat unique (as far as we know) is that we actually have every single person in the company across all departments complete a Mini Project.
- A final culture/values interview with the co-founders. This is a chance for you to get some face time with each of the founders to get a feel for the vision we are trying to enact and ensure it resonates with you.
What's the work like?
Fraction is a lender for multiple unique products in Canada, and we are actively looking to expand our product selection in 2026. Your primary role is to ensure that applications submitted to Fraction convert and that our broker partners receive an amazing, seamless experience.
- Serving as the main point of contact for mortgage brokers from application submission through to funding.
- Collecting documents and information for the Ops team to process (including broker onboarding, income documentation, borrower PII, and insurance information).
- Engaging in proactive communication to ensure applications convert and brokers have everything they need.
- Becoming an expert in our products, giving brokers confidence and pleasure in dealing with you.
- Assisting our sales team with marketing campaigns.
- Assisting in the creation and delivery of presentations and content.
- Formulating creative and impactful ways for Fraction to spread awareness.
- Designing and managing a strict sales funnel for engaging with and supporting mortgage brokers.
Remote vs. Onsite?
This is a Onsite role, and you are expected to come to our office in Gastown regularly.
