Are you passionate about local food culture? We’re Foodee, a team of food experts on a mission to connect local restaurants to businesses through our meal planning platform. We help corporations spread the power of good food by curating menus from top local restaurants and delivering them to your office.

We’re looking for a Restaurant Support Representative whose main area of focus is to provide first class support to restaurant partners via phone, email and online chat. In this role, you will be assisting restaurant partners to successfully execute Foodee Orders for clients and build excellent, value-based relationships with restaurant partners and provide ongoing support through Foodee’s managed platform. In addition, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues in the moment and collaborating with both restaurant success, customer support and logistics teams to deliver an exceptional stakeholder experience. The ideal candidate will be located in British Columbia, Alberta or Ontario. We are not offering relocation or sponsorship for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • First line of response to all Restaurant partner inquiries; from restaurant recommendations to billing issues, live order questions and general concerns
  • Live order monitoring and working with our logistics and customer support teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Proactively contacting restaurant partners to provide order updates and address order issues
  • Building and developing positive relationships with current and potential restaurant partners
  • Problem-solving and turning issues into positive experiences
  • Proactively planning holiday availability of restaurants based on client and market needs
  • Maintaining, refining and developing Foodee Restaurant Support processes, and documenting any changes in our internal wiki (Confluence)
  • Supporting both restaurant partners and Foodee in maximizing their revenue
  • Assisting with restaurant operations; menu updates, ordering labels, amending contact information or service times
  • Holding restaurant partners accountable for errors; late orders, missing/incorrect items, poor quality items
  • Supporting with finding suitable replacement orders when a restaurant partner is unable to accommodate

REQUIRED SKILL SET/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years of experience in a service-based role
  • Customer-centric, service-focused mindset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident, friendly ‘people person’ who can establish and maintain solid relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Quick thinker, fast learner and problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to get things done and done well
  • Comfort with fast-paced, rapid change
  • Nice to have: Restaurant/Hospitality experience
  • Nice to have: SaaS support experience
