Flybits is hiring multiple Senior Solutions/Sales Engineers to play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our new and existing customers. In this dynamic position, you'll leverage your technical expertise to guide customers through technical evaluations, presentations, demos, and provide ongoing support. Your passion for advancing technical knowledge both internally and externally will be instrumental in our growth. As a bridge between our sales and product teams, you'll help qualify and close opportunities and prioritize features based on customer and competitor insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Growth, Customer Success, and Account Management teams, applying your technical expertise to evaluate technical RFPs, potential integrations, and custom development work.
  • Value Proposition: Articulate Flybits' value proposition with confidence, drawing from your deep product and company vision expertise.
  • Technical Leadership: Prepare for and lead technical discussions with a diverse audience, from executive-level stakeholders to engineers and developers, tailoring your content for maximum impact.
  • Complex Deal Closure: Utilize advanced competitive knowledge, technical skills, and credibility to technically close complex opportunities.
  • Product Insight: Share your profound understanding of customer needs internally to shape the ongoing product management roadmap.
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers and internal teams to gather product feedback and assess the competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

    • Experience: You possess over 5 years of experience in an enterprise sales engineering role.
    • Technical Proficiency: You have hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
    • Coding Skills: You bring over 5 years of experience with Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
    • Adaptability: You thrive in situations where adaptability is key and excel at troubleshooting and adjusting when plans change.
    • Collaborative Spirit: You are resourceful, resilient, and proactive in your interactions with internal and external stakeholders, driven by a genuine desire to help your colleagues succeed.
    • Remote Work: Given our North American presence, you are comfortable working effectively with remote teams and customers.
    • Technical Background: You have a background in solution architecture/engineering, software development, or technical support.
    • API Proficiency: You possess a strong understanding of APIs, integrations, SSO, and related technologies.
    • Requirements Management: You can effectively capture customer requirements and collaborate with the engineering team to scope and estimate custom work.
    • Mobile and Application Development: You have knowledge of the mobile tech stack and application development lifecycle.
  • Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Sales Engineering: Over 4 years of software sales engineering experience, with a preference for experience in quota-carrying roles.
  • SaaS Expertise: Familiarity with Software as a Service (SAAS) technologies is highly advantageous.
  • Enterprise Sales: Experience selling to complex enterprises is strongly preferred.
  • Scaleup Background: Previous experience in a startup environment is a valuable bonus.
  • Client Interaction: You are comfortable engaging with clients through various mediums, including phone, video conference, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Executive Engagement: Proven track record of successfully navigating complex sales cycles with C-level executives.
  • Marketing Technology: Knowledge of Martech automation stacks or other personalization solutions is a plus.
  • Sales Training: Formal sales training and value-based sales training is a significant advantage.
