We are a team of passionate medical and technological innovators on a mission to improve patient treatment and outcomes with cutting-edge medical devices like the FloPatch. FloPatch is the world’s first wireless Doppler ultrasound system designed to support the clinical management of critically ill patients. The wearable sensor enables real-time functional hemodynamic monitoring for patients requiring cardiopulmonary and fluid resuscitation.

The Production Engineer will be a crucial addition to our expanding team. The successful candidate will contribute to our organizational growth by supporting ongoing manufacturing activities and participating in process improvement efforts. Our ideal team member is passionate about their work, has a strong sense of teamwork, and is adept at troubleshooting and resolving issues. We are looking for someone who is interested in using their unique skills to enhance production efficiency and quality, ultimately improving patient outcomes through diligent production engineering support.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and optimize production tools, test fixtures and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement mechanical components and systems.
  • Conduct testing and validation of production processes and electrical and mechanical designs of production tools.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate records of design changes and improvements.
  • Train and support production staff in new processes and equipment.

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering or a related field to production engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in production engineering, with a focus on developing tools and processes.
  • Experience developing hardware testing and inspection jigs.
  • Experience developing fixtures for manufacturing processes and testing finished components.
  • Experience developing testing scripts (Python and similar scripting languages).
  • Experience developing custom production record management tools and using off the shelf tools.
  • Proven mechanical design skills, with experience in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (experience with ISO 13485 and medical device field is preferred).
