Flipp’s Shopper Consideration Platform allows retailers and manufacturers to create digital experiences from their savings & deals content. These experiences help Shoppers decide what to buy and where to buy it. Flipp then connects those retailer and manufacturer experiences to millions of shoppers through Flipp’s owned and operated channels.

As an Account Director on the Retail Mid-Market team, you will collaboratively build and execute strategic partnerships with regional and independent retailers across North America. In addition to driving strategic alignment with Flipp’s external retail partners, you will leverage your leadership and coaching skills to strategically grow and build a high-performing team and collaborate with our best-in-class internal teams to deliver technology initiatives and revenue targets.

What you'll get the opportunity to do:

  • Own our business relationships with key senior contacts (Director+) to drive overall partnership strategy and vision; grow and deepen the partnerships, with a focus on ongoing external education (presentation, calls, and meetings) on the digital shopping landscape and the value of the Flipp platform.
  • Create new relationships within existing partnerships to expand the depth and breadth of the partnership, with a focus on adding value for both Flipp and our partners.
  • Coach, scale and empower a team of Account Executives and Account Managers; support their career development plans at Flipp through ongoing training and feedback.
  • Manage revenue and forecasting to meet quota goals alongside the Director of Partner Development, ensuring your team is delivering against specific revenue opportunities.
  • Act as an escalation point of contact for your accounts, managing ambiguous or time-sensitive situations that may pose risk to the partnership
  • Play a key leadership role on your team and the broader organization, embodying Flipp’s cultural values & principles, driving team health and cohesion, and identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies in PPS (People, Process, Systems)

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 5-7+ years of account management, partner development or sales experience
  • Relevant industry experience in retail, CPG, digital media, or technology
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and alignment with Director+ level external contacts
  • Experience building and growing teams
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, time management, high attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams to unlock new opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to work with complex data to drive insights and actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional communication skills that allow you to lead and influence thinking internally and externally
  • Proven ability to meet revenue goals and build strong partnerships based on joint value
