As a Solutions Consultant, you'll drive our key customer business strategies forward with our retailers and brands. These include but are not limited to driving enterprise wide analog-to-digital migration of retailers merchandising promotion strategies, driving dynamic content solutions for merchandising without static assets, and driving personalization/targeting solutions to increase ROI.
What you'll get the opportunity to do:
- Lead pre-sales customer meetings as it relates to the entire merchandising promotion program and act as a trusted advisor
- Build trust with customers and also understand the industry so that we are representing ourselves to industry standards
- Work with external teams to present results and drive the business forward
- Map the value of Flipp product & technology to prospective customers and translate customers needs into an action plan
- Employ a consultative approach to develop the best solutions that grows our partners business and desired outcomes
- Lead the delivery of our customer merchandising promotion programs end to end by quarterbacking solutions and strategy with our internal teams (ie Insights, Media Science, Content, Technology)
- Drive new solutions, iterate and improve existing solutions and have the ability to bring together a multidisciplinary approach to a problem set
- Develop internal training and assets that can be used across our external partnerships team
- Stay up to date on market trends and technological developments to consult clients
What you'll bring to the team:
- 7-9+ years of experience with demonstrated industry experience in a technical pre-sales and/or technical consulting role
- Experience working with external client personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges as a technical advisor and creating a win-win environment
- Experience in handling objections and finding creative solutions to overcome those objections
- Experience working with cross-functional internal teams towards a common goal; specifically with our Sales, Product, Data Insights & Analytics, Media Science and Content verticals
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing and results-obsessed environment
- High learning agility and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address technical challenges
- Experience with analytics tools; familiarity with relational database programming (eg. SQL, Python), data visualization/dashboards) with the ability to identify trends and insights to drive solution performance
- Experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS/Javacript, APIs or other integrations, etc.)
- Experience with digital media; familiarity with ad tech systems, from both the supply and demand side (DMP, DSP, SSP), programmatic advertising
- Knowledge of retailer and/or consumer packaged goods (CPG) marketing practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other relevant field is preferred but not required
