The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the rapid growth and evolving talent needs of Questrade Financial Group (QFG). This role is responsible for executing high-volume recruitment strategies for QFG’s Banking line of business, ensuring a steady influx of high-quality talent.
The TA Specialist functions as a key partner to the business, owning the full-cycle recruitment process, and leveraging a mix of traditional recruitment methods and emerging AI-driven tools to identify, attract, and select best-fit candidates in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
High-Volume Recruitment & Partnership
- Full-Cycle Execution: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for Bank-related business groups.
- Intake & Strategy: Conduct intake meetings with hiring leaders to define role requirements and align on hiring/sourcing strategies.
- Candidate Management: Manage the full candidate journey - prescreening, scheduling interviews, and leading offer negotiations and onboarding assistance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the TA Lead, HRBPs, and Business Leaders to forecast hiring needs and ensure all hiring targets are met.
Advanced Sourcing & AI Integration
- AI-Enabled Screening: Utilize AI-enabled tools to increase screening efficiency, reduce bias, and objectively analyze large applicant pools.
- Proactive Sourcing: Research talent pools and source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and non-traditional channels to build consistent pipelines.
- Process Innovation: Support the ongoing assessment of TA workflows and recommend improvements through AI-driven solutions.
Operational Excellence & Brand Ambassadorship
- Candidate Experience: Act as a cultural ambassador for QFG, ensuring every applicant receives professional, timely updates and a welcoming brand interaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, well-organized records of all candidate interactions, including interview notes and debriefs, to ensure process consistency.

- Have 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a specific focus on high-volume and/or corporate services roles
- Have a post-secondary education in HR Management, Psychology, Business, or related field
- Have experience in financial services, banking, and/or technology sectors (preferred)
- Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with a high degree of professionalism
- Are proficient with recruitment technologies (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter) with hands-on experience using generative AI tools (i.e. Gemini or Claude) to optimize workflows
- Have strong attention to detail, are highly organized and have the ability to prioritize effectively
- Are team-oriented and skilled at working within a collaborative, hybrid work environment
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to improve hiring outcomes
- Are highly adaptable to shifting priorities and changing demands
Compensation Information:
- Base salary range: $60,000 - $65,000
- The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
