We’re looking for our next Treasury Analyst. Could It Be You?

We are seeking an Analyst to join our collaborative Treasury team. In this role, you will focus on the day-to-day execution of Treasury reporting, while providing essential analytical support to help our team deliver actionable insights.

The Treasury Analyst will be supporting the production of daily and monthly reports/KPIs, presentations, policies and procedures provided to senior management, regulators and executive groups as well as being involved in the day to day operations of the Treasury department.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Daily Reporting & Operations: Focus on the daily production of performance reports, including profitability, cost of funds, and funding mix, to provide management with actionable insights. Assist in daily deposit pricing processes to ensure alignment with funding strategy.
  • Committee Support: Prepare presentation materials for monthly management meetings, specifically the Asset Liability Capital Committee (ALCO) package.
  • Treasury Policy Maintenance: Assist in the review and updating of Treasury policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Risk & Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report on adherence to established risk limits, tolerances, and targets. Involved in the execution of hedging procedures and regulatory compliance to maintain interest rate and foreign exchange risk within risk appetite limits.
  • Analytical Assistance: Provide support for model validation, stress testing enhancements, and analysis of financial risks (e.g., interest rate and liquidity risk).
  • Technological Efficiency: Leverage technology and AI tools to automate routine reporting tasks, improving overall efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Adhoc Analyses: Performs adhoc analyses as required in support of Treasury function.

  • Have a university degree in Business or Finance; an MBA, CFA, FRM, or CPA designation is an asset.
  • Have 1 to 3 years of experience in a treasury function.
  • Have effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in reporting.
  • Sound analytical thinking with strong planning and execution skills.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Have an ability to manage multiple reporting tasks simultaneously.
  • Have a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Foundational understanding of risk management and financial markets.

Compensation Information:

  • Base salary range: $60,000 - $80,000
  • The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
