We’re looking for our next Manager, Talent Acquisition (TA) - Early Careers. Could It Be You?
We are seeking a Manager, TA - Early Careers to lead the evolution of Questrade Financial Groups (QFG) campus strategy. In this role, you will own the end-to-end program management of our early career initiatives—from strategic framework design to intern hiring and leadership. You will be responsible for scaling our talent pipeline, optimizing recruitment systems to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience that fuels our future leadership bench.
As the Manager, TA - Early Careers, you will drive the strategic expansion of QFG’s campus presence. This dual-impact role focuses on:

Program Leadership: Managing and executing the strategic framework for Early Career and Internship programs.

Operational Excellence: Continuously improving TA processes and systems while providing consultative support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
You will have experience recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles, have experience in program management as you will own the execution and scaling of QFG’s Internship/Early Career Program.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategy & Program Management
- Strategic Framework: Design, implement, and evolve the enterprise-wide Early Career Talent Strategy to meet QFG’s Early Careers hiring objectives.
- Program Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the end-to-end execution of the Internship and New Graduate programs, ensuring a seamless transition from campus attraction to full-time integration.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain deep business acumen by monitoring Early Career industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging recruitment technologies to keep QFG at the forefront of the talent market.
Campus Partnership & Employer Branding
- Institutional Relations: Build and manage high-impact partnerships with Career Centers, student associations, and professional organizations at target campuses to secure QFG’s presence as an employer of choice.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Partner with the Employer Branding team to develop and execute a compelling campus value proposition, serving as a lead brand ambassador both digitally (social media) and at in-person events.
- Pipeline Development: Create high-visibility opportunities to engage students for both immediate internship needs and long-term post-graduation talent pipelines.
Operational Excellence & Analytics
- Data-Driven Insights: Define, track, and report on key recruitment metrics and KPIs (e.g., offer acceptance rates, conversion rates, and pipeline health) using the ATS, AI and other analytical tools.
- Process Optimization: Continuously audit Early Career TA workflows to identify efficiencies, leveraging data and AI technology to enhance the experience for both candidates and hiring leads.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all campus recruitment activities align with QFG’s broader Talent Acquisition strategy, maintaining consistency and compliance across the Enterprise.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Consultative Advisory: Train and coach hiring leaders on recruitment best practices, interviewing techniques, and effective student engagement strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the broader People & Culture team on strategic HR projects and organizational initiatives.
- Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert for team members and business leaders, sharing insights on market trends and operational improvements to foster a unified TA function.
- Ad-hoc: Execute additional duties such as but not limited to recruitment for specialized positions and special projects as assigned to support the evolving needs of the Talent Acquisition department.

- Have minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with at least 2 years specifically leading Internship programs.
- Have a proven track record of success in high-volume, fast-paced corporate environments
- Have demonstrated success in managing campus recruitment programs, with an asset in building strategic frameworks for intern and new graduate hiring.
- Hold a University degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Have the expert ability to define, track, and interpret TA metrics. You use data not just for reporting, but to identify hiring bottlenecks, forecast trends, and build stakeholder consensus around solutions.
- Have a "continuous improvement" mindset with a proven ability to recognize opportunities for process optimization and lead organizational change.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on executing complex tasks and maintaining high performance under pressure.
- Have Advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and a deep understanding of social media recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Indeed, Glassdoor).
- Have comprehensive knowledge of provincial and federal legislation and regulations governing recruitment and selection practices.
- Have strong knowledge of digital sourcing strategies and "employer of choice" branding techniques.
- Have strong service orientation with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, establishing credibility through expert market insights.
- Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships with internal teams and external educational partners.
- Are a collaborative leader who can motivate teams, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively within a cross-functional People & Culture department.
Work Environment & Adaptability
- Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to represent QFG at peak campus events, job fairs, and networking sessions.
- Mobility: Ability to travel during peak campus recruiting seasons.
- Resilience: Self-motivated and directed, with the organizational skills to prioritize and execute multiple competing projects.

- Have experience in the financial services industry
- Are Bilingual - written and verbal fluency in English and French
Compensation Information:
- Base salary range: $100,000 - $115,000
- The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
