We’re looking for our next Principal Data Analyst, Business Analytics (Contract). Could It Be You?

This role is focused on driving data-driven decision-making by analyzing trends, identifying key metrics, and delivering actionable insights that support business growth and operational efficiency. It involves leveraging advanced analytics to deepen the understanding of customer and merchant behaviors while fostering collaboration with stakeholders to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions. The role requires managing the end-to-end development and maintenance of complex reports, dashboards, and analyses, ensuring their accuracy and timely delivery.

Additionally, the role emphasizes mentoring junior team members, enhancing their skills in onboarding, knowledge development, and data validation. Acting as a primary liaison between the analytics team and other departments, the position ensures clear communication, alignment of priorities, and consistency in deliverables that add measurable value to the organization.

• Identify trends, insights, and key metrics to support the business in identifying crucial findings to make better decisions.

• Utilize Advanced Analytics methods to deepen understanding of customers / merchants.

• Mentor junior peers in their onboarding, knowledge development and data validation processes

• Act as the primary contact between the analytics team & other departments ensuring clear communication of requirements & expectations.

• Liaise with other departments to enhance knowledge of business products, processes, automation, and advanced analytics.

• Work with stakeholders to identify key business problems & translate them into analytics questions that the team can address.

• Own end to end process of developing, maintaining complex reports, dashboards, and analyses, while ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

• Effectively communicate findings & recommendations to stakeholders.

• Be accountable for team deliverables, as far as consistency, accuracy, and value.

• 3+ years experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Engineering

• Technical Skills: Highly proficient in SQL, Power BI, Python/R is a plus

Compensation Information:

• Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000

• The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
