This role will transform our social ecosystem from the high-energy discussions on Reddit and Discord to our visual and professional storytelling on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook into a thriving hub of engagement and brand love.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Drive the engagement strategy across Reddit, LinkedIn, and other community hubs, ensuring every interaction builds trust and translates public discourse into actionable insights.
• Lead the analysis of sentiment data to identify systemic root causes of frustration, delivering high-level reports that empower internal teams to implement long-term structural fixes.
• Architect the communication framework for early adopters and alpha/beta testers, ensuring feedback loops are seamless and technical issues are managed with transparency.
• Oversee the resolution of high-profile escalations, providing the strategic direction and technical accuracy needed to protect the brand’s reputation during sensitive or complex situations.
• Govern public-facing standards in partnership with Legal and Compliance, ensuring our voice remains human and engaging while strictly adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Synthesize technical product milestones into a cohesive public narrative, ensuring marketing and product updates are clear, relatable, and consistently messaged.
• Champion the client experience by influencing cross-functional leaders with social trend data and developing the communication playbooks that scale our voice across the organization.
• Direct risk mitigation efforts during critical moments or viral events, providing the flexibility and high-level judgment needed to stabilize public sentiment and support the community.

So are YOU our next Communication & Engagement Strategist? You are if you…

• Have 5+ years of experience in communications, fintech, community management, or high-stakes public-facing roles (e.g., community management, agency social lead, or tech PR).
• Are concise, empathetic, and accurate in communication. You can write a professional LinkedIn response and a relatable Instagram comment with equal skill.
• Have the ability to quickly synthesize information from Product teams and decide the best way to communicate it to a frustrated or curious public.
• Have a strong understanding of trading and investing (Options, Margin, P&L) or the strong curiosity to master these concepts quickly.
• Understand the nuances of different platforms, knowing when to use a threaded reply on Reddit vs. a formal statement on LinkedIn.

Compensation Information:

• Base salary range: $95,000 - $115,000
• The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
