We’re looking for our next Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner. Could It Be You?
The Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner is a key member of the Finance Business Partners team whose purpose is to deliver insightful financial information and analysis to the business and executive team to support decision-making across the organization while leveraging AI to create efficiencies and streamline work.
Working under the direction of the Director, Finance Business Partners, the incumbent supports the business leaders in product, operations and finance by providing financial analysis and management reporting on the bank's unsecured lending business.
This role will primarily support the finance needs of Questbank’s Unsecured Lending business groups, including Product, Treasury, Operations, Compliance and Risk in the ongoing refinement and tracking of financial budget and forecasts (including relevant financial KPI’s), as well as the development of business cases for new initiatives.
The Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner will also work alongside the rest of the FP&A team to provide accurate and timely management reporting to internal and external stakeholders at Questbank.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supporting business unit leaders with the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets.

Providing monthly and annual operating results analysis against budget to business unit leaders and Executive teams.

Working closely with the Product, Treasury and operations teams to manage and report monthly KPI/KRI/OKR and provide insights.

Conducting various financial modeling projects on operational short-term and long-term strategic initiatives.

Developing and maintaining financial models using various methodologies, including statistical modeling, driver-based modeling, and financial valuation methods.

Tracking performance of business cases.

Acting as the lead financial advisor to the Product Leader of Unsecured Lending, providing prowess and challenge on product pricing, commercial strategy, and market positioning.

Pursuing continuous improvement in business processes for FP&A.

Leading and assisting with ad-hoc special projects within the Finance team as they may arise

Developing AI tools to run real-time What-If simulations on the portfolio translating these AI-generated scenarios into strategic pivots for the product team.

Hold a degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field

Hold a CPA or CFA designation (or working towards one)

Have 5+ years of related work experience in FP&A or FBP with at least 2 years at a leadership level

Have advanced proficiency in Excel

Have experience with unsecured lending products (PLOCs, Credit Cards, etc)

Are pro-active, results-driven and a problem solver

Have strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multiple levels of leadership, both verbally and in writing

Have proven ability to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines

Have proven ability to deliver insightful financial information and analysis, provide financial analysis and management reporting, and conduct various financial modeling projects

Compensation Information:
-
Base salary range: $135,000 - $155,000
-
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
