We’re looking for our next Senior Product Manager, Everyday Banking. Could It Be You?

As the "Architect of the Financial Hub," you are responsible for building a seamless "Single Hub" experience that encourages users to replace their traditional bank apps. You own the end-to-end lifecycle after the initial onboarding, focusing on winning the user’s direct deposit and helping them take control and optimize their personal finances. You sit at the intersection of spending, saving, and investing, ensuring an elevated experience through a single, liquid ecosystem.

  • You are a Primary Account Orchestrator. You don't just build features; you build the financial OS of our users' lives. You know how collaborate across different product domains to orchestrate a "Financial Hub" where Spending, Lending, and Investing flow together seamlessly.

  • You are a Cash Flow Master. You can partner with the Card team to ensure a flawless point-of-sale experience and provide enriched, clear transaction histories.

  • You are a Financial Wellness Enabler. You build features to make saving addictive and managing personal finance effortless.

  • You are a Direct Deposit Hunter. You are obsessed with winning the Paycheque. You know the friction points of switching banks and have the strategic playbook to convince users to migrate their payroll, bill payments, and other financial accounts to us.

  • You speak Money Movement fluently. You have deep expertise in the rails that move money (EFT, Interac, etc.) and can collaborate with the money movement team to establish a seamless user funding experience to acquire more funds.

  • You are Metrics Obsessive. You look at DAU (Daily Active Users) and Transaction Velocity as your bible. You are relentless about increasing the Share of Wallet, turning us into a user’s primary account.

  • You can lead High-Stakes Integrations. You have the gravitas to manage vendor relationships and lead the rollout of mission-critical features.

Hard Skills

  • Product Sense & Design:

    • Business & Financial Acumen: A deep interest in personal finance and the ability to understand business dynamics, and connect product data with business metrics and outcomes.

    • Market & User Research: Experience leading qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand client needs, identify unmet needs, validate solutions, and stay on top of market and competitor trends.

    • User-Centric: Balancing business goals with solving real user problems and delivering tangible value. A discerning taste for what constitutes a great user experience and the ability to turn complex problems into simple, intuitive product experiences by applying design thinking and collaborating with the design team.

    • Technical Fluency: Sufficient "technical know-how" to discuss architecture, technical considerations, and trade-offs with engineers, and understand how design, product, and engineering work together effectively.

    • Agile Execution: Knowledge of the full product development lifecycle (Scrum/Agile) to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure iterative delivery of products.

  • Analytical & Strategy: Mastery of using quantitative and qualitative data to derive meaningful insights, define metrics, track performance, and inform prioritization and decision-making. Ability to leverage data to present product opportunities and get stakeholders and leadership buy-in.

  • Execution & Stakeholder Management: A track record of launching financial products and managing expectations and communication with stakeholders.

  • Are a thought leader with 3-5 years of FinTech, financial services, or banking experience, leading digital product management with a specialty in core banking and financial services.

  • Have expertise with P&L management and cross-sell strategy.

  • Have exceptional communication skills across all stakeholders and levels, including engineering, design, data, marketing, operations, customer service, legal and compliance.

  • Have demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, drive change and challenge the status quo, deal with ambiguity and make informed recommendations.

  • Have exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills.

  • Have strong financial acumen and the ability to lead from strategy to implementation.

  • Have demonstrated the ability to work and lead in an agile manner.

  • Expertise in money movement rails (EFT, Interac) and retail banking logic.

Compensation Information:

  • Base salary range: $135,000 - $185,000

  • The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.

Additional Information…

  • This role requires three days of in-office presence per week for Greater Toronto Area (GTA) residents. For candidates residing outside the GTA, a remote workplace arrangement is available.
