We’re looking for our next Associate Product Manager, Credit Cards. Could It Be You?

This is a high-impact foundational role responsible for ensuring the successful, efficient, and accurate delivery of the credit card product roadmap. You will serve as the execution engine, data analyst, and detail owner for the Senior Product Manager.

Your main goal is to provide the detailed analysis, clear requirements, and project coordination necessary to make the Senior Product Manager as effective, timely, and confident in their decision-making as possible. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Requirements Ownership & Backlog Management: Own the deep, detail-oriented thinking around features. Translate high-level strategic goals into clear, detailed business requirements, user stories, use cases, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. Manage, groom, and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Senior PM.

  • Data & Performance Analysis: Own the tracking and analysis of key credit card performance metrics (e.g., acquisition funnel conversion, application drop-off rates, activation, usage, and early credit risk indicators). Conduct deep-dive analysis using data tools to identify performance bottlenecks and measure the impact of launched features.

  • Project Coordination & Execution: Serve as the primary product liaison and coordinator, driving the day-to-day delivery of tasks across cross-functional teams (Technology, Operations, Design, Marketing). Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure features are delivered on time and to spec using Agile methodologies.

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis on Canadian credit card features, value propositions, and fee structures. Summarize findings and industry trends into consumable reports to support the Senior PM's strategic reviews.

  • User Experience (UX) and Process Mapping: Support the definition and mapping of detailed customer journey flows, operational processes, and servicing workflows. Focus on identifying and documenting friction points to ensure all customer touchpoints are well-considered and delivered with minimal effort.

  • Documentation & Readiness: Ensure all product, operational, and regulatory documentation is accurate and current. Coordinate internal readiness activities, including the creation and maintenance of product training materials for Operations and Servicing teams.

  • Have 2–4 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or project coordination, preferably within the financial services or FinTech sectors (direct credit card or lending experience is an asset).

  • Possess a proven ability to write detailed, unambiguous requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria), and a working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Are a highly detail-oriented and organized self-starter who can manage the product backlog, track multiple workstreams, and coordinate delivery across diverse functional teams.

  • Have strong analytical proficiency with demonstrated experience in data manipulation and reporting (e.g., Excel, BI tools like Tableau/Looker), capable of turning metrics into actionable insights.

  • Understand the importance of user experience (UX) and have experience mapping out process flows, use cases, and edge cases to mitigate technical and operational risk.

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of summarizing complex analysis and documentation clearly for various audiences.

  • Have a Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Additional Information…

  • Please note this role will be required to be in office 3 days a week

Compensation Information:

  • Base salary range: $90,000 - $110,000

  • The final compensation package will be commensurated with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
