We’re looking for our next Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Could it be you?
Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis is a high-impact role at the company. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving alignment across the enterprise and providing critical insights into profitability and growth.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning & Modeling: Leading the end-to-end corporate planning process, including annual budgeting, in-year forecasting, and long-range (5-year) strategic modeling.

Business Performance Management: Designing, monitoring, and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at the line-of-business and product levels to drive profitability and cost efficiency.

Decision Support & Analysis: Developing frameworks to evaluate new products, strategic initiatives, merchant relationships, and growth opportunities. Provide deep profitability analysis and actionable advice to executive leadership.

Treasury Partnership: Collaborating with the Treasury function on capital and debt management strategies, hedging, balance sheet optimization, and financial risk management.

Reporting & Insights: Overseeing monthly management reporting and expense analysis. Presenting financial results, operational insights, and variance analysis (vs. plan/prior year) to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.

Lending & Risk Integration: Incorporating specific lending metrics, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and Provision for Credit Losses (PCL), into financial models and forecasts.

Team Leadership: Managing, coaching, and developing a team of finance professionals. Fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Process Optimization: Championing the automation and streamlining of existing financial processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

Hold a University degree in Accounting or Finance;
-
Hold a relevant professional designation (CPA, CFA or MBA)
-
Have 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with 5+ years in FP&A within the Financial Services or Corporate Lending sectors
-
Possess a deep understanding of lending economics, including ECL/PCL methodologies
-
Have advanced proficiency in financial modeling and G-Suite (Google Workspace)
-
Bring exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making
-
Have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with precision
