We’re looking for our next Business Process Analyst. Could it be you?

The Business Process Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and re-engineering business processes and documentation within financial services organizations.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial services industry and a solid understanding of process improvement methodologies.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Process Analysis:

  • Conducting thorough analysis of existing business processes within different departments (e.g., loan origination, customer onboarding, account management).

  • Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in current processes.

  • Documenting processes using flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual aids.

  • Gathering data and metrics to measure process performance and identify areas for optimization.

Process Improvement:

  • Developing and implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Utilizing process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile to drive positive change.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements and ensure buy-in for process changes and updates to documentation content.

  • Assisting in the implementation and integration of new technologies, including providing training and support to end-users.

Documentation and Training:

  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive process documentation, including process maps, procedures, and training materials.

  • Creating and maintaining a version control methodology.

  • Delivering training to employees on new or updated processes and systems.

Project Management:

  • Managing small to medium-sized process improvement projects, including defining scope, timelines, and resources.

  • Tracking project progress, identifying risks, and communicating updates to stakeholders.

So are YOU our next Business Process Analyst? You are if you…

  • Hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Have 3+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry

  • Have subject matter expertise in deposits, credit cards, mortgages, loans

  • Have proven experience in process mapping, analysis, and improvement

  • Are familiar with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)

  • Have experience with process modeling tools

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

  • Work well independently and as part of a team

  • Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Are proficient in Google Suite Products (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

  • Are results-oriented: driven to achieve process improvements and tangible results

  • Are customer-focused: committed to enhancing customer satisfaction through process optimization

  • Are collaborative: able to work effectively with stakeholders across different departments

  • Are adaptable: able to adjust to changing priorities and business needs

  • Are innovative: open to new ideas and approaches to process improvement
