We’re looking for our next Manager, Finance Business Partner. Could it be you?
The Manager, Finance Business Partner is a key member of the Corporate FP&A team whose purpose is to deliver insightful financial information and analysis to the executive team to support decision-making across the organization.
Working under the direction of the Director, Finance Business Partner, the incumbent supports the business leaders in Corporate Functions by providing financial analysis and management reporting on Questrade’s businesses.
This role will primarily support the finance needs of CTC/Questbank’s Deposits and Money Movement groups, including Product, Treasury, Deposit Administration, Distribution, Compliance and Risk in the ongoing refinement and tracking of financial budget and forecasts (including relevant financial KPI’s), as well as the development of business cases for new initiatives.
This role will also work alongside the rest of the corporate FP&A team to provide accurate and timely management reporting to internal and external stakeholders at CTC/Questbank.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supporting business unit leaders with the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets

Providing monthly and annual operating results analysis against budget to business unit leaders and Executive teams

Working closely with the Product, Treasury and Distribution teams to manage and report monthly KPI/KRI/OKR and provide insights

Conducting various financial modeling projects on operational short-term and long-term strategic initiatives

Tracking performance of business cases

Developing and maintaining financial models using various modeling methodologies, including statistical modeling, driver-based modeling, and financial valuation methods

Pursuing continuous improvement in business processes for FP&A

Leading and assisting with ad-hoc special projects within the Finance team as they may arise

Hold a degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
-
Hold a CPA designation or working towards one
-
Have 5+ years of relevant work experience in FP&A, with at least 2 years at a leadership level

Have experience in the financial/investment industry, specifically deposit products (direct to consumer, and broker channel)
-
Possess advanced proficiency in Excel
-
Have strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple levels of leadership, both verbally and in writing

Are pro-active and results-driven
-
Are able to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines

Have experience delivering insightful financial information and analysis, management reporting, and conducting various financial modeling projects

Have experience supporting business unit leaders with the preparation and tracking of financial forecasts and annual budgets

Have experience working closely with business leaders and teams (Product, Treasury, Distribution, Corporate Functions) to support decision-making, manage and report KPIs, and develop business cases
