We’re looking for our next IT & Cyber Business Analyst. Could It Be You?

The IT & Cyber Business Analyst role is an integral and fundamental part of the CISO & Technology organization, reporting to the Director, IT & Cyber Governance, Risk & Control.

This role is pivotal in enhancing the CISO team's efficiency and strategic capabilities, primarily through the strategic application of AI and automation. The core responsibilities encompass driving AI adoption for workflow streamlining and executive visualizations, comprehensively managing KRCs from data collection and analysis to reporting and dashboard creation, supporting cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives including plan development, execution, and compliance tracking with AI-enhanced materials, and providing essential tooling expertise for migrations, implementations, and system health maintenance.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive AI & Automation Adoption: Spearhead the integration of AI and automation to not only streamline routine workflows but also to automate the generation and distribution of ongoing reports, and metrics, significantly enhancing efficiency and response times.

  • Develop Executive Visualizations: Create executive-level dashboards and reports using automation.

  • Manage KRIs/KPIs Collection: Lead the collection of Key Risk Indicators & Key Performance Indicators and implement automations for accuracy and efficiency to enable for in-depth analysis of data, trends and thresholds.

  • Issue Management: Support the management of the full lifecycle of IT & Cyber issues, from identification and logging to tracking, and resolution, ensuring timely and effective closure.

  • Risk Remediation Activities: Tracks remediation of identified IT & Cyber process and control gaps working with stakeholders to maintain resolution traction and accurate reporting.

  • Identify Process Improvements: Continuously seek opportunities for enhancing processes and reporting.

  • Support Cybersecurity Training: Support the development, roll out & execution of ongoing cybersecurity training and phishing simulations. Establish reporting for training completion and repeat offenders.

  • Provide Tooling Expertise: Offer critical support for technology & cybersecurity tool migration and implementation supported by deep analysis and research.

  • Manage CISO Communications: Support CISO & Technology communication requirements, as needed.

  • Ad-hoc Initiatives: Provide support for ongoing ad-hoc initiatives, as needed, across the CISO org and the Governance, Risk & Control team.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Technology / Cybersecurity

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies

  • Deep working knowledge of Google Workplace tools, diagramming and project management software

  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Calm and patient under pressure and thrives in a changing, dynamic, high velocity environment

  • Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision

  • Highly motivated with a mature and positive attitude towards learning new skills

  • Strong written, presentation and oral communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

  • Previous experience working in financial services or other regulated or critical infrastructure sectors

  • University or post-graduate degree or equivalent in computer science, IT or business disciplines, or equivalent work experience
