We’re looking for our next Manager, National Sales Support & Events. Could It Be You?

The Manager, National Sales Support & Events will directly support the Head of Distribution/Business Development in all Business Development activities. This role also involves collaborating to provide consistent and timely reporting to our national partner network. With hands-on oversight of the events hosted and participated by Community Trust, the Manager will manage a national events calendar. The manager will also oversee the Broker onboarding specialist team to ensure a seamless and efficient broker onboarding process.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and execute regular events nationally, including speaking engagements, conferences, trade shows, partner appreciation events and thought leadership sessions.

  • Execute event logistics, including coordination with vendors, facilities, rentals, and internal stakeholders.

  • Assist with administrative aspects of events, including new requests for support, event calendar management, promotional item inventory, critical paths, and invoicing.

  • Collaborate with various internal business units and conduct independent research to identify new opportunities for participation in industry events.

  • Work with the internal marketing team to develop pre and post event engagement campaigns.

  • Provide on-site event support (set-up, tear-down, on-site social media coverage, additional tasks as required).

  • Conduct internal event post-mortems to gather feedback and provide insight into successes and learning opportunities.

  • Respond promptly to both internal and external requests from clients and partners.

  • Provide general marketing support to Marketing & Brand Management team

  • Manage the Broker onboarding team

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Oversee the National Sales team while supporting the Head of Distribution in calendar, activity, expense and travel management.

  • Partner with Marketing team

  • Complete Sales Reporting and Volume Bonus Reporting

  • Partner with Business Development Managers and Internal Business Development Associates as required

  • Follow AML procedures on all files with an emphasis on “Know Your Client” rules.

  • Proactively identify actual and potential violations of AML regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures or other AML/ATF risk situations at an early stage. Conducts appropriate inquiries and investigations in relation to any such situation and ensures that corrective actions and/or risk mitigation actions are implemented in a timely manner or escalated appropriately.

  • Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.

  • Presentations (Sales meetings, broker feedbacks, etc)

  • Assist in the preparation & review of sales collateral & material

  • Have experience in leadership or in a management position

  • Have experience in supporting and guiding in a Sales environment

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in event creation, coordination and execution

  • Have a diploma or degree in event management or project management

  • Have the ability to travel to events nationally

  • Have a valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle

  • Have proficiency in Google Workspace.

  • Have a proven high level of organizational and time management skills

  • Have the confidence and professionalism while representing Community Trust to event attendees.

  • Have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills in an event setting

  • Please note this role will be required to be in office 3 days a week
