We’re looking for our next HR Specialist. Could it be you?

As a member of the People and Culture team, the HR Specialist leads initiatives that impact employee engagement, compensation management, organizational change, performance management, operational efficiency, and culture and drives recruitment in the region. As a trusted advisor, the HR Specialist provides coaching and counsel to business leaders on human resources solutions that contribute to the goals of the business unit and supports a high performing and engaged working environment.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Act as representative of People and Culture in Armenia by through ownership of the end-to-end employee life cycle; onboarding through offboarding processes & experience which includes being the first point of contact for leaders and employees.

  • Collaborate with the Director, People & Culture, to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achievement of business goals

  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to manage the full-cycle recruitment locally in Armenia including planning, sourcing, creating assessment methods, shortlisting, prescreening, organizing and participating in interviews and handling offers and onboarding

  • Partner with people leaders to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.

  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning, to drive employee performance and development.

  • Facilitate organizational development initiatives, including training, on such topics related to change management, team building, people leader enablement sessions, and leadership development, to enhance organizational effectiveness and connect employees with business goals.

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends related to the supported client groups to identify opportunities for improvement and develop proactive solutions.

  • Create and maintain employee files: reference letters, employment agreement updates, vacation registration orders, etc.

  • Perform data entry and process compensation changes, transfers, and other data changes in Dayforce

  • Lead HR administration activities, including personnel records management, contracts, compliance, and employee documentation.

  • Plan and execute company events

  • Develop team-building exercises and workshops.

  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory

  • Review and approve office supply acquisitions

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment

  • Create a workplace that increases individual well-being, personal productivity, and organizational effectiveness

  • Establish and continually optimize processes to improve the work environments that enhance the employee experience, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

  • Take charge of planning for and tracking workplace budgets and expenses

  • Collaborate with the Finance team for record-keeping, light bookkeeping, and documentation

  • Create and implement programs at work that connect employees with business goals.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all HR practices.

  • Maintain an awareness of emerging trends and best practices in HR and liaises with HR peers to ensure policies and procedures stay current and market competitive

So are YOU our next Senior People Operations Specialist? You are if you…

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Have 5+ years of HR and TA experience, with a focus on supporting technology industry.

  • Have sound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Job Evaluation experience is a plus!

  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  • Have demonstrated ability to influence and partner with mid-sr level leaders and their teams.

  • Have a proven track record of successfully managing employee relations issues.

  • Have experience with performance management, and organizational development, with significant employee relations experience in a contact centre/client facing environment.

  • Have proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Dayforce.

  • Have the ability to garner trust and provide sound counsel and coaching

  • Are collaborative, proactive and results oriented

  • Have strong presentation and group facilitation skills

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can easily navigate ambiguity

  • Have advanced communication skills in English - verbal and written
