We’re looking for our next Director, Enterprise Partnerships & Sponsorships. Could It Be You?

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director, Enterprise Partnerships and Sponsorships to join our growing marketing leadership team. This pivotal role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and high-value sponsorship opportunities that drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned negotiator with a proven track record of securing and nurturing complex enterprise-level relationships.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise partnership and sponsorship strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives, marketing goals, and revenue targets.
  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify, research, and evaluate potential enterprise partners and sponsorship opportunities (e.g., industry events, conferences, thought leadership platforms, co-marketing initiatives) that align with our brand values and target audience.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at target enterprise organizations, industry associations, and event organizers.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead the entire partnership and sponsorship lifecycle, from initial outreach and proposal development to complex contract negotiation and successful deal closure.
  • Program Management: Oversee the successful execution and activation of all partnership and sponsorship agreements, ensuring deliverables are met, ROI is maximized, and brand guidelines are adhered to.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless integration, alignment, and support for partnership initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all partnerships and sponsorships, regularly track performance, analyze results, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget allocated for partnerships and sponsorships, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging partnership models to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, or sponsorship management, preferably within financial services
  • Leadership: Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives independently.
  • Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with a track record of securing significant enterprise deals.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with senior-level executives.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable partnership strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed for meetings, events, and conferences.
