We’re looking for our next Senior Specialist, People & Culture (P&C) Technology and Projects. Could It Be You?

The Senior Specialist, People & Culture (P&C) Technology and Projects role is to help fuel the achievement of People and Culture (P&C) strategic priorities through supporting process and system optimization and innovation.

The Senior Specialist will combine knowledge of the P&C area with project management and technological advances, specifically in Dayforce/HRIS. They will be capable of assisting the department, seeking the best way to evolve the experience of employees and the processes that are part of our daily lives at the company. They will work together with the other areas to understand how each one works, identify improvements and help spread the agile culture in our environment.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Help with Ceridian Dayforce Optimization work and new initiatives
  • Support P&C process and system optimization initiatives
  • Document and assess global P&C processes, highlight similarities & differences, and identify opportunities to streamline where applicable
  • In collaboration with other P&C teams, identify automation / process improvement opportunities, and optimal global P&C operating models
  • Develop own project management expertise to help build this capability within P&C team more broadly
  • Elicit, define, analyze and document requirements for new projects and enhancements to existing processes.
  • Maintain project plans and proactively communicate any issues/risks to project lead as they arise
  • Organize process documentation and maintain team shared work environment
  • Collect project status updates from team members, track project milestones and report to the team lead
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Questrade’s P&C processes and the relationships with other P&C areas.
  • Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing HR/P&C practices and mindsets.

So are YOU our next Senior Specialist, People & Culture (P&C) Technology and Projects? You are if you…

  • Have 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or People & Culture (P&C) roles, with a strong focus on HR technology and process optimization.
  • Have demonstrated expertise in Ceridian Dayforce and/or other HRIS platforms, including implementation, optimization, and ongoing support.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Have proven project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, track milestones, and identify/mitigate risks. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar would be an asset.
  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to document and assess complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions.
  • Have excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different departments.
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical and process-related information.
  • Are highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Have proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and presentation tools) for creating process flows, project plans, and reports.
  • Have strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Have a creative and innovative mindset, with a willingness to challenge existing norms and explore new approaches to P&C practices.
  • Have the ability to champion an agile culture and drive continuous improvement within the P&C function.
