Senior Software Developer (SDE-III)
FISPAN is an Enterprise SaaS FinTech start-up that allows for banks to deploy embedded financial products and services to create a seamless banking connection for their corporate clients. Our product aims to provide instant scale and reach for banks who want to remove friction and add value by enabling their commercial banking clients to access banking services through their preferred operational software. Founded in 2016 by respected and renowned entrepreneur Lisa Shields, FISPAN is on a mission to create the best product in the FinTech industry, and fundamentally change the way that companies bank. Being the market leader in ERP-banking, we work with the world’s Tier 1 banks with assets exceeding up to $3T, including J.P. Morgan Chase.

The interview process for this position will be entirely remote, and we are open to remote work options.
We are looking for an experienced backend engineer who loves technology, can take ownership of the projects, is able to design and implement solutions to complex problems, feels proud of their craft and is excited to be part of a team re-shaping the definition of corporate banking applications. You would be joining a team of senior platform engineers who build FISPAN’s core platform.
- Expertise in creating Restful APIs using backend frameworks like Spring-boot(Java / Kotlin), Express(Node.js)
- Deliver features ready for distributed environments using micro-services architecture and messaging queues.
- Good understanding of containerization of workloads via docker and their orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Maintaining FISPAN’s core developer platform while maintaining a great developer experience.
- A decent understanding of modern cloud infra/deployments and a great understanding of a full software development lifecycle
- Previous experience with Fintechs and accounting / ERP systems is a great asset.
- Passion for technology and readiness to adapt to the changing technology landscape.
