We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and scale the web applications and services that power Corvian's enterprise technology platforms.
What You'll Do:
- End-to-end full-stack development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features and services, including UI, APIs, and data access layers that support Corvian's enterprise products.
- Frontend engineering (React/Next.js + TypeScript): Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, following established design systems and UX patterns.
- Backend services and APIs (Node.js/TypeScript + Python): Design and implement secure, scalable REST (and/or GraphQL) APIs using Node.js/TypeScript and/or Python (for example Django or FastAPI), integrating with internal and external services.
- Data access and persistence: Work with PostgreSQL and other relational/NoSQL databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Quality, testing and automation: Implement and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) using tools such as Jest and Playwright, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines that keep releases fast and reliable.
- Secure, observable systems: Implement authentication, authorization, logging, error handling, and other cross-cutting concerns in line with best practices for security, compliance, and observability.
- Architecture and technical leadership: Contribute to application architecture (service boundaries, data models, integration patterns) and help drive standards, conventions, and best practices across the team.
- Collaboration and mentorship: Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, QA, Data, and DevOps/SRE to deliver increments of value, and provide coaching and informal mentorship to mid-level and junior developers.
What We're Looking For:
Experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant time spent in full-stack web development.
- Proven track record delivering production systems in enterprise, B2B, or other complex environments, owning services and features end-to-end.
Technical profile
- Strong full-stack background using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and libraries on both frontend and backend.
- Backend experience building and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js/TypeScript and/or Python (for example Django or FastAPI).
- Comfortable working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of secure coding, authentication and authorization, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
Engineering foundations and mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, Data, and Operations teams.
- Comfortable balancing architectural thinking with hands-on delivery, and mentoring other developers
- where needed.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging or streaming, observability tooling, or AgTech, insurance, or finance domains is a plus.
