About this role

As the Ads product manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end scope of advertising products on Faire’s platform - from ad unit display to ranking and targeting to campaign management tooling. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and data to define product strategies and deliver high-quality solutions that drive value for our retailer and brand customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital advertising, e-commerce, and the unique needs of both retailers and brands in a B2B marketplace.

What you’ll do

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the vision and roadmap for Faire's advertising products, aligning with company goals and customer needs. Prioritize initiatives to deliver maximum impact and growth.
  • Customer-Centric Design: Collaborate with research to collect insights from users (both brands and retailers), stakeholders, and market research to ensure advertising products meet the needs of our diverse customer base.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, and sales teams to bring advertising products from concept to launch, ensuring smooth execution and alignment across teams.
  • Product Development & Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation, feature definition, and prioritization, to development, testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders related to advertising products. Effectively communicate product status, updates, and results to leadership and other teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on advertising products. Prior experience in marketplace advertising, e-commerce, or B2B is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of digital advertising platforms, ad-tech, and analytics tools. Experience with A/B testing and other product experimentation methodologies.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights to inform product decisions and optimize performance.
  • Customer-Focused: A passion for understanding user needs and building solutions that delight customers. Experience using customer feedback to inform product development.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Salary Range

San Francisco, CA: the pay range for this role is $205,000-$282,000 per year.

This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule - Faire employees will be expected to go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, effective the week of January 13, 2025. Additionally, in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year.
