About Faire

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local — independent retailers around the globe are doing more revenue than Walmart and Amazon combined. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so that small businesses everywhere can compete with these big box and e-commerce giants.

By supporting the growth of independent businesses, Faire is driving positive economic impact in local communities, globally. We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About this role

We are looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to join Faire's Growth Marketing team. There are two main components of this role: 1) overseeing the day-to-day management of our paid social channels, which includes conducting optimization tests to improve efficiency, and 2) exploring new opportunities to extend our reach beyond existing paid marketing channels. The ideal candidate has worked in an experimentation-driven environment, eagerly embraces automation and technology to accelerate growth marketing efforts, and stays ahead of the curve with the latest digital marketing trends.

  • Run our Europe paid marketing program alongside the International team
  • Generate insights about our customers and regularly conduct tests including (but not limited to) creative/copy testing, landing page optimization, and audience targeting, to optimize the full-funnel experience
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure that there is continuous alignment on strategic goals and transparency on campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Work cross-functionally alongside Product, Creative, Data Science, Finance, International and other Marketing functions to develop and run impactful experiments.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of direct, hands-on experience managing campaigns on Meta and other paid social platforms, focused on optimizing for down-funnel metrics (payback, ROAS, etc.).
  • Experience in a two-sided marketplace or with products aimed at small business owners is a strong plus
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools (Smartly or similar feed-based campaign management tools) is a strong plus
  • Experience in managing a cross-border program is a plus
  • Highly analytical with a structured approach to solving problems. Proficient in analyzing large datasets through Excel and/or SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Mode and Tableau)
  • AB testing knowledge and experience
  • Experience working cross-functionally to generate new insights and develop testing ideas
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and a passion for optimizing processes
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills and ability to communicate insights crisply to various stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, with the agility and flexibility to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
