We are looking for a highly skilled Curriculum Designer to develop transformative, digital-first learning experiences for the DreamBox Learning suite of products. DreamBox has always been designed by experienced classroom teachers. Working in cross-functional teams alongside engineers, artists, and product leaders, you will help shape how students experience and understand learning in a digital environment.

In This Role You Will:

Curriculum Design & Development

  • Design engaging, student-driven lessons grounded in pedagogy, using interactive manipulatives, scaffolding, and games.
  • Align lessons to DreamBox’s learning design principles to boost student confidence, engagement, and achievement.
  • Build curriculum maps and pathways aligned to state and regional standards to support differentiation and teacher usability.
  • Develop teacher-led mini-lessons, data visualizations, and suggested actions that reflect student progress and promote effective instruction.
  • Design and implement learning experiences that reflect 21st-century competencies, including curiosity, creativity, and adaptability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Client Success teams to provide pedagogical insights and ensure alignment across the product lifecycle.
  • Support Sales and Professional Learning teams through blog posts, white papers, presentations, and event participation.
  • Lead or contribute to key projects focused on innovation, curriculum advancement, or AI integration.

Innovation & Impact

  • Explore and implement the use of AI tools and prompt engineering to enhance curriculum development.
  • Continuously refine and optimize content based on student data, feedback, and instructional efficacy.
  • Serve as an internal expert on instructional design and curriculum best practices.

Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful full-time K–12 classroom teaching experience (math preferred)
  • Experience using educational technology in the classroom and/or in curriculum design
  • National Board Certification preferred
  • Experience or interest in AI tools for learning design preferred
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support industry events or internal initiatives
  • Legal right to work in the United States

This role is designed to be in our Charlotte HQs with a hybrid work schedule.
