Description

Evercloak is seeking a highly organized and driven Product Development Coordinator to support the advancement of EverDROP™, our membrane-based dehumidification technology, from development through to commercial readiness. Working closely with the Head of Product Development, this role will help coordinate day-to-day product development activities, ensuring strong alignment across internal teams and external partners. The Product Development Coordinator will contribute to the successful execution of development and scale-up efforts by facilitating communication, tracking progress, and supporting the integration of technical, application, and business priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you’ll do

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Support and coordinate execution of product development activities across current and next-generation EverDROP™ systems

  • Translate customer and internal requirements into actionable development tasks and track progress across the product development cycle

  • Coordinate with contract manufacturing partners, including communication, quote comparison, timeline tracking, procurement support, and contribute to manufacturing forecasts

  • Track materials inventory across product lines to ensure availability for development, testing, and customer shipping

  • Coordinate preparation and shipment of product samples, including packaging, documentation, and logistics tracking

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align on priorities, timelines, and execution needs; identify risks or delays and proactively escalate issues

  • Identify and implement improvements in day-to-day workflows, tracking systems, and documentation to enhance execution efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

The Product Development Coordinator is motivated by making a meaningful impact in a growing organization and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or a related technical field

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or a technical coordination role, including co-op or internship experience

  • Experience supporting product development or scale-up activities in a lab or manufacturing environment

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines

  • Experience working with external partners or suppliers

  • Familiarity with basic lab practices, safety protocols, and handling and exposure to QA/QC processes, testing, and documentation

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel or similar for tracking, data organization, and reporting

  • CAPM or equivalent project management certification is an asset

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross functional team.

Working hours: 40/hrs week

Length: 12-month contract, with potential for extension

Work location: Kitchener-Waterloo (on-site). Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada
