Join our dynamic team as a Software Development Engineer in Test, where you'll play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the highest standards of quality in our mobile products. This is a full-time remote position working Pacific Standard Timezone hours. Please note that we can only consider candidates who reside in Canada with valid working status.

What You'll Do

  • Drive automation test strategies and work directly with the automation engineer and dev team to enhance and scale automated test solutions/frameworks.
  • Create efficient test plans and maintain the test case repository as our product grows in functionality.
  • Support the Product QA team with release testing both manual and automated.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively in an agile team environment.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration of automated testing in the release cycle.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to identify tools and methods to improve QA processes.
  • Continuously find opportunities to remove inefficiencies and take measurable steps to create additional value for the team through continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in QA, with at least 3+ years experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with mobile app testing on real and virtual devices.
  • Proven experience creating automation frameworks and tools to support test automation.
  • Strong in Object Oriented programming preferably Python is a must.
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium etc.
  • Hands on Experience with testing RESTful data services, web services and APIs (REST/JSON)
  • Document and mentor other Engineers in the use of our testing frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks.
