👩💻 Who you are
You are experienced. You have experience as an account executive for a SaaS company for 1-3 years, preferably selling to medium-sized companies.
You will have also used a CRM, preferably Hubspot
Ideally, you have experience working at a Seed to series A stage startup
Ideally, you are comfortable using G Suite, Hubspot for outbound, scheduling, pipeline reporting, developing prospective customer profiles, and documenting all sales-related activities
You have hit or exceeded quota in your most recent sales role for more than 3 months running
You are entrepreneurial. This is a highly entrepreneurial sales role where you'll be working directly with the CEO, Co-founder to prospect, follow-up, demo and close deals as well as manage your pipeline end-to-end.
You are collaborative. You like the fact that this team is more of a GTM (go-to-market) team than a traditional large sales organization. You understand that you will only win if the entire team is successful. You believe that regularly sharing learnings and having a tight feedback loop with the team is integral to being successful.
You are analytical and like numbers. You are driven by quantifiable goals and outcomes, and are analytical in nature.
You have unparalleled organizational and time management skills. You lean towards an instant follow up and timely follow through.
You have high standards, low ego. Your standards for your work and your teammates are so high that some may consider it unreasonable. You know you don’t know everything and opportunities to learn from other smart talented people excite you. You make decisions to prioritize the team and not the individual.
🙌 What you will do
You will be helping build and iterate on our sales efforts. You'll be working with a tight, highly effective sales team to build a repeatable, scalable sales process and bring on the next growth phase for the company.
You will support growing the sales team and supporting SDRs. You will be supporting growing the sales team, and mentoring SDRs and new AEs.
You will be owning full-cycle sales. From discovery calls on Zoom, conducting sales demos, to sending the contract, and sometimes sending your own first touches, you are excited to do what it takes to reach prospects and support them in solving their challenges. You are able to effectively build and manage a robust pipeline and have demonstrated ability to identify objections, understand market landscape and proactively remove obstacles for prospects to move through the sales funnel.
You will always be in discovery-mode. You will learn by doing discovery in every single conversation with prospects.
You will develop presentation materials and deliver compelling product demos. You will create and iterate on sales assets to help prospects learn more about Epoch.
You will hit goals. You will consistently hit or exceed predetermined sales targets on a Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly basis
You will map out and execute on sales touch points. You will strategically map out and execute plans to pursue target accounts through calls, emails, LinkedIn and nurture sales/marketing campaigns
You will maintain weekly reports on the health of the pipeline, wins/loss and progress against goals.
📝 Job Details:
We are hybrid, Toronto-based. You are expected to meet with the team in-person downtown min. once a month.
Our pay is competitive and is a combination of salary and equity
