What to Expect as a Forward Deployed Engineer at Elastic Path
Elastic Path is redefining what’s possible in digital commerce. Our customers—including some of the world’s most innovative brands like, T-Mobile, Comcast, Serena & Lily, and Intuit—rely on us to deliver Composable Commerce solutions that are adaptable, scalable, and built for the future.
We are introducing a new role: Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE).
This role is a hybrid of a Professional Services Engineer and Product Engineer. As an FDE, you’ll be the technical partner our customers trust most—embedding with their teams to design and implement solutions—while also contributing back to Elastic Path’s core platform roadmap. You’ll thrive if you enjoy variety, ambiguity, and high-impact problem-solving.
At times, you’ll lean more customer-facing (working closely with business and technical stakeholders to solutions). At other times, you’ll lean more engineering-heavy (designing APIs, building extensions, and upstreaming reusable features into the Elastic Path platform).
