Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Exceed assigned sales objectives by consistently surpassing targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities and growth.
- Conduct effective warm and cold prospecting activities to identify potential clients.
- Follow up with leads promptly and qualify opportunities to ensure a productive sales pipeline.
- Identify emerging markets and evaluate potential customer leads.
- Implement creative outbound strategies to engage and build relationships with key prospects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue generation.
- Track and meticulously report all sales activities using Salesforce and Gong.
- Leverage solution selling techniques to expertly guide the sales process and close deals.
- Participate in industry-specific tradeshows and conferences to broaden market reach.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and captivating software demonstrations.
- Prepare and present accurate sales quotes and persuasive proposals.
- Facilitate smooth client transitions to Global Services and Customer Success teams.
- Occasionally travel within Canada and the U.S. as required for business needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in prospecting and cultivating accounts.
- Outstanding track record of surpassing targets and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Confident in conducting software demonstrations and delivering presentations.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Exceptional ability to engage and negotiate with business leaders and executives.
- Strong aptitude for networking and building relationships.
- Proficient in defining solutions with compelling value propositions.
- Demonstrates independence, taking ownership, and being accountable for results.
- Possesses a collaborative mindset, contributing to team success.
- Understanding of SaaS business models and the Software Sales Cycle.
- Proven experience in the Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality Management industry.
- Familiarity with CRM software, forecasting tools, and platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn, DocuSign, InsideView.
- Relevant experience: 1 to 3 years in software and service sales.
