The goal of Specialist, Data Validation is to support the execution of robot testing with parameters and configuration adjustments as well as ensure validation of data and signals created during inspection robot preparation in the assigned region. The position is also responsible for coordinating support from various global Subject Matter Experts, where needed, to facilitate firmware updates and troubleshooting, ensuring fitness for purpose within restrictive and dynamic preparation timelines.

Job Overview:

  • Validate data from various robot tests, including:

    • Defining test parameters

    • Validating signal quality during barrel testing

    • Following and recording tests

    • Troubleshooting data and signal issues during robot preparation

  • Conduct firmware updates to ensure tool component compatibility and readiness

  • Assist with sensor selection and creation of run parameters

  • Validate on-site test results and support parameter adjustments as needed

  • Perform cross-checks of configuration files prior to robot launch

  • Provide informal technical training for junior staff during signal quality reviews

  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver Level I operational support

  • Support failure diagnosis efforts for the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) team

  • Contribute project support and feedback for new designs and developments

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:
• An Associate or equivalent degree (min. two-year) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field is required
• A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or applicable technical field is preferred

Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with standard and complex tool testing is required
• Basic Knowledge of Ultrasonic Technology (UT) is required
• Minimum of 3 year of experience operation In-Line Inspection (ILI) tools is preferred
• Experience in an international and culturally diverse environment is preferred
• Must be proficient in spoken and written English as well as the local language
