Procurement Manager

Purpose:

You are responsible for leading a motivated global team that procures engineered components and services for our inspection technology. As Procurement Manager, you will promote the team development, optimize supplier relationships and align the procurement strategy with global business goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead an international Procurement team, fostering collaboration and performance excellence
• Develop and execute a global procurement strategy aligned with business goals
• Manage international sourcing and supplier selection across all commodity groups
• Negotiate long-term agreements with international vendors
• Support and execute procurement activities in alignment with project-specific needs, including timelines, technical specifications and commercial requirements
• Work operationally on a daily basis, process purchase orders, coordinate and communicate with suppliers, resolving delivery issues and ensuring data accuracy and reporting
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supply chain risks
• Participate in supplier audits to assess quality systems, regulatory compliance, sustainability practices and risk management
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and supplier innovation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, technical vocational training apprenticeship or similar education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in international procurement and proven experience in managerial and leadership role
• Good technical knowledge and procurement best practices
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems preferably SAP
• German and fluency in English
• Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally
