Ecoation has designed and developed an AI robotics platform that evaluates crop health in commercial greenhouses internationally, eliminating the need for mass chemical pesticide usage. With exciting products hitting the market in the coming months, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about high technology, food, innovation, and sustainability. Ecoation is seeking a Customer Success Representative to join our team in Kingsville, Ontario. This customer-centric role will focus on providing actionable intelligence to growers in many different crops.

Reporting to the VP of Agronomy and Customer Success (VP ACS), the Customer Success Representative works with many teams within ecoation: Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Agronomy, Product, and Data Science to generate actionable agriculture intelligence that is captured and shared through different channels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Train and educate customers to operate ecoation technology within a commercial control environment production facilities
  • Deploy ecoation technology in person and remotely
  • Develop positive customer relationships by holding weekly meetings that encourage platform use and technology uptake across ecoation services
  • Promote ecoation services in IPM and Yield Forecasting
  • Record and communicate detailed notes from all customer interactions including hardware and software product feedback
  • Oversee customer data quality in a weekly reporting process and on the ecoation dashboard
  • Oversee and encourage customer use of the ecoation dashboard by regularly reviewing incoming horticultural data
  • Communicate platform performance issues to different internal teams
  • Implement a success plan following ecoation best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Provide constructive feedback to the internal product development team that meet customer demands and enhance ecoation products
  • Identify opportunities for ecoation to expand their product offering and communicate potential sales opportunities
  • Communicate technical knowledge regarding greenhouse practices
  • Ensure continuous alignment with the goals of the Customer Success and Sales departments and drive toward ecoation’s vision, mission, and goals
  • Work professionally with various project stakeholders and maintain clear and aligned coordination and communication

Daily Work Routine

  • Have daily conversations with customers in person and over video conference to discuss IPM and Yield forecasts
  • Review customer horticultural data and generate actionable insight for the customer
  • Maintain and build relationships with new and existing clients with sales
  • Plan and execute new customer deployment and onboarding process
  • Continually align with new product features and development
  • Continually align with new sales and growth opportunities

Skills & Experience:

  • B.Sc in an agriculture-focused field: agribusiness, horticulture, applied biology, agronomy, geography, ecology, entomology, agricultural engineering, etc.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in the greenhouse industry
  • Experience with high-tech cultivation of greenhouse crops
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve issues independently
  • Experience with agricultural technology development and implementation
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers in person and using digital tools
  • Having an attitude that is outgoing, positive, and curious
  • A passion for sustainable food production using new technologies
